Welcome to Word Ablaze Ministries

Run to the Waters.

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?" (Psalms 42:1-2).

The kind of world we live in is one that brings us under very stressful situations many times; and over the ages, men have deviced various means of dealing with the stressings and stretchings of life. Many spend fortunes traveling to resorts; many others hang around the nightclubs and discoteques as a means of relaxation; several others go after the 'bottle' in an attempt to use alcohol to ease up.

However, God has made his own divine provision for us if only we will look to him and go after what he has provided for our refreshing. Folks, genuine refreshing only comes from the presence of the Lord. Hallelujah!

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." (Acts 3:19).

Whenever the hart, roebuck or deer is hot, dry, thirsty, or threatened by a predator, it immediately begins to look for a body of water because its needs will be adequately met as it plunges into the water.

For the hart therefore, the water brook is the place of refreshing, soothing and safety. So ought to be the Lord's presence for the child of God. As the hart's needs are met in water your needs will be met as you plunge into the presence of the King. Amen!

Over the years, I have been blessed and very privileged to have access into the mind of God as revealed in His Word. In the school of the Holy Spirit, I have learnt so much, and gotten so much profound revelations from everyday Bible passages. This ability to unearth and bring forth spiritual gems from the Word every time I have the opportunity to teach has not ceased to amaze multitudes.

In this
LogoRhema Snippet Archive the reader will have a rare opportunity of going back in time to glean some of the daily inspirational teachings I have done in recent times.

You can also link on to our various ministry sites -Rabboni, and Blazing Words - for more detailed audio teachings, photo galleries, conference information, ministry update and blogging.

As a ministry, our commitment has never changed: We guarantee you the Word, the whole Word, and nothing but the Word.

Shalom!

Come join us on our spiritually focused and edifying discussions about God and his word.

This month's discussion:

Why do the righteous suffer?

The subject of Christian suffering is one of the oldest questions that has gnawed at the hearts of believers over the ages. Why must I suffer such pain, agony, and trauma even when I'm walking uprightly with God. Why must I be buffeted on every side with calamities and tragedies? Why is the righteous not immune from struggles? Why do the righteous suffer? ...why?

Please feel free to drop a few thoughts, or questions. Remember, all contributions MUST be biblically sound, and must edify the brethren. Again, try and limit your write-ups to not more than 100 words.

Ministry Update

The August edition of LogoRhema Seminar held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Ramada Hotel on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. The theme of the meeting was "METHUSELAH."

As always, brethen came from all the surrounding states: New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and new York. It was such an awesome program with quality music rendered by the Agboolas and many others. Dr. Brown brought forth the Word for the day as he did a very incisive exegesis on the subject of Methuselah - The meaning, symbolism, prophetic implications, and God's expectations in the now. ...It was such a blessed time!!!

On Sunday August 17, Dr. Brown traveled to Baltimore Maryland where he ministered morning and evening at the 2008 edition of "Glory Cloud"; an annual Conference organized by the House of Glory Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Dr. Brown shared on "Peter's Shadow" and "Preparing for the Glory." ...Yet another very fruitful outreach to the glory of God.
